Good digital work has been priced for companies with a marketing department. A business with six staff gets quoted the same retainer as a business with sixty, or gets handed a template nobody maintains. Neither is a good deal.
What changed is that AI now does a genuinely large share of the repetitive work inside an agency — the drafting, the research, the reformatting, the first pass at code. A small team using it well can deliver what used to need a floor of people.
